Hi All,

I’m Darren,

I’m 31 and live in Navan co. Meath.

I’ve owned a few various cameras over the years but recently took the leap and bought a nikon D500 and bought an 80-200mm 2.8 for birds in the garden etc and an 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 for everyday usage with my one year old son etc.

My main focus would be wildlife, mainly birds as I keep and breed them as another hobby. Recently a friend of mine loaned me his studio set up for portraits and i’ve become really interested in this area too so I will be looking for some lighting shortly if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I would also like some critiques on my pictures to help me improve as I go.

Hoping to learn loads.
