    Hi everyone

I joined last week but didn’t really know what to say here.

I have been taking photos for a few years now and got really hooked when working for the Irish agents for Konica (free film and processing)

Couple of years ago I decided to get a bit more serious and I did a VEC adult evening photo course which was all about how we take photographs and thinking about different ways to take photos.

Currently in am well into the DIT 12 week Introduction to Photography course where we are developing and printing our own photos. Next session we will be in the studio shooting whit some Hassleblads, REALLY looking forward to this.

Currently I am primarily using my Nikon FM2 for the course but I also use my Nikon D70

Favourite subjects tend to be landscapes and the kids if I can get them to stay still long enough.

I have read lots of posts and find the site a great source of information and I am looking forward to learning a lot from everyone elses shared experiences.

This hobby is great fun, extremely addictive and worth every penny………..

Welcome along to the site Damian.

Welcome to your new home. By the way – there’s no known cure for this addiction so you’re stuck with it…but don’t tell the government – they might tax it.

    Alan.
