    hi.
I’m a second year photography student who didn’t know what an aperture was a year ago!! have learned a lot in the last year but still getting to grips with the technical side of things and trying to develop my eye, despite being a woman am having difficulty multitasking so am concentrating on technical aspects for now, if it happens to look good too its kind of a happy accident!!

I’d love help with issues like lighting and photoshop.. and probably lots more besides!

BTW What are the correct dimensions for posting a photo here?

look forward to feedback and honest criticisim!

    Emma,

Can i ask what course your studying and how you have developed your knowledge in such a short time, Im really new to all this finding it daunting to the point of wondering if i would be better sticking to golf! Any advice from a relatively recent convert to this science would be much appreciated.

    Regards

Hi Emma, welcome along to the site. Have only been learning for the past 6 months, its very addictive but always huge scope to learn.

Icarus – best way to learn is to get out there, take loads of photos, delete loads, make mistakes and read as much as you can. Some books/mags/sites will explain things better than others, so shop around.
