Hi,
Just registered so thought this is the best place to drop in and say hi.
I’ve been browsing for a few weeks now and have been impressed with both the level of photography, and the general vibe of the site.
I’m an amatuer landscape photographer, based in Co Wicklow. Whilst I don’t claim to be an expert, I am at the stage where I want to start doing things with my photo’s…they’re not doing much good on my pc! Last year I started to print/sell images, but only on a small scale. I am hoping to build on that in the future, but won’t be giving up the day-job just yet!
I hope that in joing this community it will inspire me to get out with the camera more often. I am aware that I don’t get out enough…. those early mornings just kill me.
Feel free to browse my website… if I registered correctly it should appear below. It’s still work-in-progress but is almost there. Any feedback will be gratefully received.

I had a look at your site, some beautiful pictures.
Old Kenmare Road, a beautiful effect, like a dancer frozen in time.St Peter’s – I found the pillar on the left to be really distracting.
Manarola is just magic.

Hi All… thanks for the welcome, feedback and the encouragement.
P&S – interesting to see you like the Old-Kenmare-road picture. Must admit it only just made the cut for the website. The image is strong enough but the lighting is pretty flat. Still I have a few days in Kerry next week so I may see if I can fix that.
Steve, thanks for the info on Bray CC. I’m on my holidays for a couple of weeks but may look into joining when I get back.

Did you by any chnce move one of your website folders or something. Your site wont display images for me at all.
Now, how am I meant to have a good old nose in it?Just noticed a few more welcomes come in whilst I was on my holidays…. Thanks all.
Aimee – I am not sure what was wrong with the website.. perhaps it was on holiday too. Should be ok now, but let me know if you have any difficulties with it.
