Hello Everyone…..

Hi everyone,I have just joined this site. I am from Co Donegal, and I am very new to photography. I only purchased my first DSLR camera (Nikon D3300 with kit lens) just over a month ago, and really looking foward to getting into photography with it.
I guess one of the things that drew me in was trying to capture the Northern Lights up here in Donegal, there was one great display a few months back and I was not really able to get any good photos with the budget point and shoot camera I had at the time, I was jealous looking at some of the great pictures taken with more advanced DSLR cameras by other photographers.

I am really loving getting to know the camera now. I am doing a small online cousre to help me a bit with most of the basics. I would love to get into Landscape and astrophotography.

Thank you Grumpy. Yea Im having great fun with it so far, although my wife may divorce me soon if I keep talking about photography things to her!!
