Hi to all.
My name is Sofia. I’m from Russia but living in Ireland (Mountmellick) for last 6,5 years and my english is not really good, so sorry for mistakes in my writing. I got my dslr last summer and I’m trying to do my best with it:) I like to take landscape, seascape and nature, I’d like to try doing macro and portraits, but I dont have a lens for that. I wasn’t doing any potography courses and the little bit I know about photography is from net and I need to learn a lot. I found a lot of usefull info in this forum.
I heard about some photography society in Mountmellick, but couldn’t find any info in internet, so if somebody heard about it, please tell me how to find it;)Hi SOfia

Welcome to the site. Perhaps Mountmellick Photo Society became Dunamaise Photographic Society. The two places are not far from each other.
