Hellooo there. Im conor, Im 16 and bought a nice new canon 400d a couple of months ago. I was looking around for a cheap dslr for a while and found that prices here are terrible so i got one sent from england. It was a bargain when you consider the saving from the UK and the Canon cashback offer (well i thought so – you’re the experts!).

yes indeed! thanks for the welcome. Until now i just used the family compact and the difference is amazing! I love the canon. I just have the kit 18-55mm lens. I cant say I fully understand all the features of the camera but i’m using it as often as possible.

your very welcome. Was using a Kodak bellows camera when I was your age. Gave me 6×7 negs but never really knew what the settings were all about. lost it when I was 17 and only now regret not minding it better.

Lucky you, I wish I would have had a 400D when I was 16.Well, I have one now and I am finally starting to get an idea what the buttons do :wink:
welcome, the main thing to do is to shoot and make lots of mistakes and shoot and make less mistakes…thats what I do :lol:
