Hello from a Newbie

Hi,

I have just got my first DSLR, an EOS 600D July 2011 and am really enjoying getting to grips with it and all involved with it.
I’m from Co. Wexford living in Dublin and and am off work for over a year now because of annoying health problems and needed a hobby to give me something to focus on(no pun intended!)instead of work and decided on photography because there is so much room to develop and learn at your own pace as far as you are comfortable with and in your own time.
I have done a beginners course of night-classes with my compact Powershot in my local secondary school last year and am going back to them in the autumn to learn about the technical side of my DSLR.
I put a couple of my first shots with it up in the Floral thread of the Themes forum. Hooray for Scene Intelligent Auto :!:
