My first post. This is Bowman lake in NW Glacier National Park, Montana. I volunteer there for 3 months during the spring and summer. Glacier is a must visit.
I hope to visit Ireland sometime soon and want to get an idea of the history and culture before I arrive. So any ideas on places that are a must please let me know.
Recently retired teacher. Summer Glacier national Park ranger or naturalist since 1978. Recently renewed my love for photography and want to travel. Home is Western Montana.
Welcome Dave. With your surname, I’m assuming you have Irish roots.
Your Ranger work sounds like the perfect job :).
As for locations in Ireland, all along the west coast is just full of places to see to be honest.
I’m sure you’ll get lots of good advice here to help you enjoy your visit.
As Mark said West coast plenty to see, also East Coast, South Coast
and North Coast…….oh and the middle isnt bad either  You will
find plenty in nearly all the counties and lots of people willing to tell you
a story or two.
