    Hello,

My name is Patricia and I?m from Portugal. I have two passions in life, photography and Ireland.. that?s the reason that brought me here. In March I?ll be visiting Dublin, but for now I just have pictures of my country to show you.

I?m here to learn with you and specially to see the photos of your amazing country. Finally I just want to express my admiration for you people and your culture and? please forgive me for my English.

    Welcome, Patricia.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with your English. It’s better than ours!
And you have some very fine people in Portugal also. I’ve only been to the Algarve region, and everyone I’ve met there has been so nice and helpful.

Welcome aboard Erin. Had a quick look at your website too, very impressive.
Lots of terrific images there. We have another member from Portugal, though
living in Ireland, Rodcunha. You might like to get in touch with him
    and catch up.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work…

    Rob.

Thank you all so much!! I haven?t arrived to Ireland and feel already at home.

Swordie, the Portuguese and the Irish people have that thing in common.. welcoming.

Ali thanks for the suggestion!! I?m staying in Dublin only for three days? hope to see everything and takes lots of pictures. I would love to visit the southwest Ireland but that will have to wait. But that?s why I?m here, to stay close to the dreams. :)

Thank you all.. for every word!!

C?ad m?le f?ilte Patricia, (A Hundred Thousand Welcomes in Irish or gaeilge)

As you say the Irish have the welcoming in common with the Portuguese, being a Portuguese myself and living in Ireland for almost 3 years now I for one am a witness of that. They have though plenty more in common with us Portuguese, like us, they love to party for instance!

Well I’m sure you will have a great time in the forums as the community is fantastic,

    All the best,

    Rod
