Spot on Patricia well done.I spent a wonderful 2 weeks in the Alvor and Prai da Vau (Algarve) area in 2000 The people were friendly and the food fantastic.
Well Jonh.. we are known by the traditional food and drink? something like you? you have the beer, we have the wine ? and Algarve it?s a beautiful region, the most recognize. But when you?ll visit Portugal I can tell you some great places, like Ger?s, Arr?bida? amazing views!!
Off topic? you will have to tell me how?s the whether in Ireland :D ? I don?t want to have a surprise when I arrive :lol:

Check on this site Patricia and you can keep an eye on the weather from day to day coming closer to your visit.
Weather is mixed, we had a lots of rain the past week or so, somedays mild but some days cold also.Be prepared.
Portugal its very much the same.. very instable weather. Thanks for the site John, it will be extremely useful to me!! :wink:
