Hi,my name is sean,and i just bought a nikon D80.
I have always loved photography,but this is my first Dslr.was going to by the d40x,but was told that if i got into it seriously i would be back for the d80,so i bought it.
I love motor sport,especially bike racing.
I took some pics today of my mate on his fireblade,but they did not come out as sharp as i wanted.but i suppode ROME was not built in a day.

I have been looking at the bike pics already,they are brilliant.but i take it they are all done with manual focus and expertise.

As has already been mentioned, there are plenty of other members
shooting motorsport images, so you’re in good company.
Me, I only look at motorsport pictures for the Racequeens…Rob.
Welcome Sean you learned your first lesson there,think about what camera you want. Then wait and save for it, you would have ended up with the D80 after losing out on re-selling the D40.You mad the right move and hope you get great mileage out of it.
