hello there, introducing myself

Hi,
I am an out of practice amateur photographer, who has been in a couple of camera clubs in Co Down in the past. I still have my Pentax SLR gear but it hasn’t been out in a while, time just seems to whistle by.
However I have another reason for trying to get in touch with like minded people. My wife’s cousin and uncle passed away recently and she was left all the possessions which included a wide range of photo gear. Her cousin was a bit of a magpie, collected a load of equipment, but never got rid of any. Therefore I am cataloging it all and trying to see if there would be any interest in the lot. There are various Minolta SLR, numerous lenses, vintage folding cameras, Yashicamat and Ilford TLR, 8mm cine cameras, Hi8 camcorders and even a Leica IIIg.
I notice that there is a for sale section and was wondering what the likely interest might be for this? I could post a list if this would help, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Alan RossiterParticipantWelcome along Gordon.
Post what ever you have for sale individually – PI is a magpies nest. If they’re good stuff and priced well you won’t have them for long.

miki gParticipantHi Gordon. Welcome to PI. Sounds like a very interesting collection of stuff and I rekon there will be plenty of interested folk on the site as stuff usually never seems to be left on the shelf here for long.
ossie13ParticipantHi Gordon & Welcome to the site!!
As already said post the items in the “For Sale” section and I’m sure they will find a ggod home!!
Cheers Steve

shutterbugParticipantWelcome to the site Gordon, as has been said the “for sale” section is your best
bet, list and price everything as you will be driven mad with questions of “how much for” :)
looking forward to seeing all the goodies, (being a bit of a magpie myself) :)geemacParticipantGuys, thanks for the welcome. I will have to do a bit of research so that I can realistically price these items. Also need to get more detail on condition etc.
