Help with buying a Printer.

Just looking for some advice on what would be a good option for a printer for home use. I want to print photos to a reasonable
standard and also print documents etc for household use. What I don’t want is to be crippled with running costs for
ink etc.
I know the recommendation would be to use HP inks with HP printers or Epson inks with Epson printers etc but I’m open
to options with refilling cartridges etcAny help,advice,comments appreciated.
