Help with lens BrennerParticipant April 6, 2011 at 12:04 am I,m looking for a new lens for sport and wildlife can anyone help? I was thinking of Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM Lens. I have the canon 550D. paulParticipant April 6, 2011 at 8:57 am 70-200mm f/4 is a lovely lens. Sharp, clear and good. But, if you shoot under very dull conditions or floodlights, you will really need the f/2.8 lens. Otherwise, 70-200mm is a decent range for sport. Some lenses are fine, but some are soft. Just be careful. In general, you’ll be hard pressed to find a bad Canon 70-200mm lens.
