    (C & C Welcome)

Not sure if these belong here – they were taken on the street but are probably more architecture than street photography. A good excuse to mess around with tones !

I think the third one is the probably stronger image.

All three are great shots, but I agree – the third one is probably the best. The first one is nice, but the head is all jumbled up with the wings and the sky.

Pictures are a bit too big to appreciate without scrolling but I think I like the second one the best. I think the first one is too close, the third one is too far but without wanting to sound like Goldilocks, the second one was just right.

Thanks for the comments – re the resolution I actually prefer them in that resolution.

I know on most monitors it requires a tiny scroll to centre but for people with larger monitors they get to see a little bit more detail. Theres nothing I hate more than seeing a good picture which you have to squint to make out whats going on so thats why I always give as much space to them as I can.

Really good photographs Gerard. Really like the ‘look’ – assume you’re doing some post-processing.

Shows the difference a more creative approach makes between the straightforward photos here http://www.harlechhouse.com/ and yours.

Cheers for that – didnt know they had a website. I also thought it was more of a harry potter type fixation going on than a welsh inspired theme for the gates. Nice one. Ps to someone who asked earlier its near the goat pub in goatstown – pm me and I will dig up the address.
