Hey everyone,
Im Sandra. I’m from Laois. I’m only 19 and have been interested in photography since I was 13 :)
I have Canon EOS 1000D SLR.
I’m applying to study Photography in college and im also trying to get my photography noticed.

Prior to that just compacts and a bridge camera. I too am looking to go to college to learn more but did read a post on here about the fact you can learn just as much from a photography group. As this will always be a hobby for me I may rethink the college option.
SandraMcPhotographyMemberyes connie you can learn just as much from a group as you can from college. but i wish to pursue it as a career so indeed college is the way for me. yes for 5 years i used a fujifilm finepix a900 and now i use both that and a canon eos 1000d slr which i received for my 18th birthday :) i am still figuring things out with it and am looking forward to the photography course in college. i had to create 2 portfolios for college also.. so the pictures on flickr are indeed the portfolio pictures. :)
