Hi all!
I’m Vera Aubrey, an amateur photographer from Moscow (Russia). Oh, maybe it’s not right to join to “Photography Ireland” forum community but I browsed your forum and liked it very much because you have really interesting discussion here (and I like your rules too! ) :)
My pet subjects are landscapes, cityscapes, architecture and portraits. I try to take macro photos but didn’t get any success yet. So I’d like to learn about photography more and hope to improve my skills. It’ll be interesting for me to know what people think about my photos (maybe I cannot take pictures at all and will be better to present my cameras to my younger brother, lol  )
I use Nikon 50D (my first camera) and Nikon 200D (it’s new one and I still test it).
I’d like to say that english isn’t my native language in spite of my name so don’t drive me out because I do a few mistakes. I have read in your rules about language (it should be correct) so I’m a bit nervous about my english.Vera
MarkKeymasterдобро пожаловать к съемке Ирландии !
Your english is absolutely fine. You don’t have to be Irish to be a member here Vera :).
We look forward to hearing and seeing more from you.Moscow is one of those cities I’d like to visit someday. Kiev/Ки́ев in the Ukraine is the furthest east I’m managed to get.
Feel free to ask questions and join in.
Thanks for joining.
jb7ParticipantHello Vera, and welcome to the site-
Your English seems perfectly good to me,
at least the equal of Mark’s Russian-Can’t wait to see some pictures now-

Don’t worry about the language, English isn’t my first language either. Look forward to see some images from Russia.

Welcome to Moscow again Dave! Moscow changed very much for the last 10-12 years. I see pictures of Moscow from that time and cannot recognize anything except Red Square. If you like I can take pictures of places you know well and we can see how they changed.
добро пожаловать к съемке Ирландии !

Thanks for p&s !, I know what you meant by this. The rules on language are about the use of rude words not how good your english is ;)
No need to feel nervous now I hope :)randomwayMemberWelcome Vera! Your photos are looking very good, hope to see more of them. You mentioned that Moscow has changed a lot…. can you post some pix? ..If perfect English was a must here, I’d be long banned from the site…
