Well have taken the plunge and joined a photography site… its humbling to be on the same site as so many fantastic photographers.. I love taking photographs – not a day goes by without something being “snapped”. Have never did any courses but would love to learn from here.. even just to get ideas… looking forward to meeting you all ! In regard to posting a first picture.. do i just do that in the releveant section or here ?? sorry.. unsure :oops:
Hi Lizzy – Welcome along.
The preferable place for a first post would be in the relevant section. Have a look through the tutorials on embedding an image. It would be a good idea to sign up to somewhere like http://www.photobucket.com to upload your images and then take the url (http: thingy) and paste it in here with the s either side (remove the spaces).

Hey Lizzy..doesn’t seem that long ago I was posting something similar myself… :D
You’ll be up and running in no time and handing out critiques on other peoples shots.
Just set up a photobucket or flickr account like Alan said and you’re off.
Have fun…it’s a great hobby and this is a great site to learn it.
