Hi,
My name’s Tiernan and I’ve just joined up to the forum. I bought my first decent digital camera lately (Canon Powershot) and i’m just on the learning curve of photography as a hobby.
I decided to go for a decent point and shoot with a good zoom (20x optical) rather than splash out on an SLR becuase i’d be way out of my depth. I’ve had a film SLR camera before but the film process isn’t as appealing anymore with the advancement of digital photography. I’m slowly learning the features and I now take the camera wherever I go . Really enjoy using it and considering I’ve an interest in wildlife and the environment it gives me a chance to record some of my field visits to look back on.
I’m hoping I can pick up a few hints and tricks along the way here and maybe contribute eventually when I get a little better. The forum looks really easy to use and well set up so I’m just going to flick through some old posts and maybe learn a bit on the way. Hopefully chat to some of you guys and girls along the way.
