hi from the stig

hi guys,
just discovered the forum. have had a passing interest in photography for a while and just recently bought the new olympus sp550 UZ. it has a 18 x optical zoom which is unreal.

goin to develop my interest in the stills side of things now with a bit of help from here an elsewhere. Been involved in video for years but this new camera grabbed my interest as a stepping stone from fully automatic point and shoot to more manual adventures.

Stig,

Post these in the critique forums. For these the Macro/Close up would be best.
You’ll not get much comments from the introduction forum

Hi stig!
Just looked up your camera as I am a total novice and still shopping! It looks really cool..looking forward to seeing more of your work. I saw your macros and they were sooooo good!
