High Performance PC for sale
-
sosacphotographyMember
Im selling a PC I bought earlier this year (Feb ’11) from PC specialist.
The PC was custom built for photoshop CS5 use, for handling large file sizes and storing large amounts of data.
Its ideally suited to a photographer.I use 21MP cameras and multiple layers and the PC handles editing with ease and is very quick.
It has a 2TB hard drive, a second 120GB solid state drive, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i7-2600 processor, an excellent graphics card (very important for CS5), USB 3.0 ports, Windows 7 professional, etc.
Wireless mouse and keyboard also included. The full spec is detailed in the invoice below.
As you can see I spent €1600 (£1,343) on it. I’m willing to sell it for €990 and will throw in free Vipre anti-virus and Portrait Professional Software.
Also have Office Home and Student 2010 (three PCs) for sale for €70.Im moving over completely to Apple as I spend 4-5 days a week editing and need the reliability that Apple provides, hence the reason for selling the PC.
Thanks
Shane

Total OrderSeaviewParticipantHi Shane, where are you based, I’d be interested in a copy of office 2010. €70 seems a bit strong, what would you’re bottom offer be.
Dave.
sosacphotographyMemberHi Dave,
Im based in Cork city, sosac photography is listed on google maps. I wouldnt consider €70 to be a lot. The CD rom hasnt even been taken out of the box, so you are getting a brand new product for a heavily discounted price.

sosacphotographyMemberSeaviewParticipantDone, only kidding.  I will be getting a new PC next year, that’s what I need the office 2010 for but I won’t be spending nearly a €1000. You PC is certainly a bargain at that price but I don’t need something like that.
Dave.
voicuParticipantyour pc sound very well equipped and a very strong tool to have. but by saying that you move to apple for reliability, you’re basically saying that your ultra performant pc (and it is) is actually not reliable. maybe you can change the wording for your own interest ;)
good luck with the sell !sosacphotographyMemberlike any windows platform you get problems from time to time. anyone spending that money on a pc should know that already. its not a problem for an enthusiast, worst case scenario you just do a windows re-install. you lose a bit of time but nothing major. i had 10 months hassle free super fast computing. recent problem was fixed with a windows re-install.
for a professional i think its best to go for apple but then again you have to be prepared to spend a lot more to get a similar spec. so i think there is still a big market for a powerful pc even they do have their problems from time to time.
