g@fairwaysParticipantAshleyParticipant
Interesting request.
What is the Media use, Period of use & Territory of use likely to be ?
g@fairwaysParticipantPeteMcDMemberstcstcMemberis there areason why you are not going the traditionl route for this image, by contacting and comissioning one of the countries commercial photographers?
g@fairwaysParticipantMarkKeymasterGlen,
You are more than welcome to post here on the site.
Quite alot of our members are professional photographers, Ashley above is one for example. Thanks
MarkAshleyParticipantDeeboParticipantWhy go to someone else outside of PI.
Lots of folks on here would be more than capable of the job. Good to see that folks want to come here and give people the chance
Go for it chaps.
DeeBrian_CParticipantdamiendParticipantI think most people on here have idea why people come here looking for photographers to do some work for them. And why those people do not contact the photographer that made the image that they use as an example.

Well, this is a photography site with a considerable amount of pro photog and semi-pros who would be interested
in doing business. We shouldn’t be surprised to get posts of this nature. Its welcome as far as I’m concerned.
thanks
5faytheParticipantI watched this thread with interest.
The project would have been of great interest to me but I do not
have the time to give to it at the moment, thankfully, due to work
committments.I’m sure other members who didn’t reply and who might have been interested
in the work are in the same position. The initial post from gfairways seemed to be very upfront describing what was
required and inviting quotations.I presume any interested parties were free to include any terms and conditions they
felt necessary with their quotation.I agree with Mark that this would seem to be a good place to look for a photographer to
quote for a project.Maybe gfairways was just unlucky that none of the members who read his inquiry
was in a position to quote for the job.John.
Alan RossiterParticipantYou’re too nice John.
There’s an air of suspicion around these parts that an image is precious and anything less than top dollar and your image won’t see the light of day, AKA I wouldn’t get out of bed for anything less than €xxx. Not everyone, I hastened to add but it does pop up now and again. I do take a point that this “may take the potential earnings” of professional photographers but there are enough around here who do earn from the profession.
I found it odd that this wasn’t taken up by those who do specialise in such things. Maybe it was and didn’t work out?
