The lighting is very nice (maybe a nit too hot on the farther part of the plate, on the pasta) and those reflections inside are a nice touch, but I would vote for Sharon if it comes to cooking ;)
Pasta or egg noodles, I can’t be certain, other than it looks
a little overcooked for my liking. I prefer al dente myself…
As for the photograph, good picture, nice clean lines, simple and
uncluttered. If I liked the look of the food you’d have a customer.
That’s good food photography…
That’s a great food photo! Very simple and attractive.
Contemporary.
Thanks for posting that….would love to see much more!
Sharon
oh for Zoltan…. :D I did see your notation~~I think it might have something to do with the fact that I’ve been cooking (and loving it and practicing) for over 40 years….
Noodles. And they were scrumptious.
The lighting is simple. A 48cmX48cm softbox with a 580exII triggered with an STE2, coming from above to the rear. It’s a common setup for still life. Nothing is anywhere near clipping, even the specular reflections are under control, so I assume when you say too hot, you just mean brighter.. (even though it is curry noodles ;) )
As for my cooking… I’ve started trying, so maybe all is not lost!
