Holder for Lee Big Stopper

I have a Lee Big Stopper on back order and i’m hoping that someone can help me by answering this question. I have a Formatt filter holder which I know will take the Lee filter but will that holder form a light-tight seal or will I have to buy the Lee holder?

I can’t be 100% sure (as I don’t know anything about the Formatt filter holder), however the Big Stopper has a seal around it that provided that it is in the space closest to the lens, helps to keep any light out.

Thanks for the link Lawrence, it’s the first time I have seen a photo of the seal in a review. It might be Ok looking at that. I just didn’t want to go and buy the Lee holder if the one I have will do the job.
