I suppose, to some extent, you’ll have to decide if you’re exposing (developing) for the centre, or the edges-
and whether you want to keep the highlights, or get something in the shadows-
you can’t have it all with Velvia 50 on a sunny day-
If it were me, on a sunny day, I’d go for +1, 1?-
though I have limited experience of the Holga-
Though I thought that, with a Holga, what you get, is what you want?
I’m no expert but if it was me i would push it 1 stop. Like most slide films the exposure latitude of velvia is not great , you generally need to get it within a half stop of the correct exposure. I think after pushing one stop you will get some usable results from the roll, must try it myself
For colour Hoga shots your probably better off with colour negative film as it has a much larger exposure latitude
Best of luck. Make sure you post a shot, would be interesting to see
I’ve no experience with velvia in a holga but ISO 50 at the moment needs a tripod at anything other than wide open. I’d be thinking yes you need to push it Fluffy.
thx everyone… the holga likes to live dangerously… go out in all kinds of weather and wear all kinds of film… she’s like that… i’ll let you know how they come out.
