    Holocaust Memorial, Berlin.

I know some people will like the person in the shot, but for me I think if the person wasn’t there, than it would have made a more interesting composition with more abstract shapes, I’d cut down on the vignetting a little too, as I think it’s done a bit too much here. Otherwise nice taken on the memorial.

Another fine shot Alan. The person adds a nice element to the shot. Nice strong lines lead nicely to the woman in the centre of the frame.
    Like this a lot

    Hi Alan,

I personally think this one of the finest shots on this site. I am constantly drawn back to view it.
    Have you printed yet ?

    Hi Alan,

I’m very surprised that this has not had more comments. I love the composition the lines are fantastic and the woman could not be more perfectly posed.

Depth of field and processing are great, its a really strong shot.

I agree with PeL, the vignetting is too strong for my taste too. I think the figure gives a nice point of interest and scale. Unfortunately, this particular figure does not work for me though. Someone with a thoughtful/solemn/interesting look would suit the scene given its a memorial but the woman looking at her camera LCD screen (I think) just doesn’t do anything for me.
