This was taken a while back, but at the time the light on the lighthouse wasn’t switched on,
    I’ve added a light with a plugin in CS5,
    Comments welcome as always.

Hi Paul. Lovely shot. I’m just wondering if reducing the ray strength slightly would make the light more realistic looking?

Beautiful hook! One of my favorite lighthouses in Ireland.

As has been said, beautiful shot, lovely colours and composition, a favourite spot
to visit, dont get there enough though! I think the light works really well, I wouldnt
have known that it was an addition!

    Hi Paul,

    Very nice photograph.

Good composition, foreground and action in the sea.
The light does add to the overall success.

Though a much photographed area it’s not a simple task to
get a good image but I feel you have succeeded.

    Cheers,

    John.

    Thanks for the replies folks,
I’ve been wanting to get down to The Hook soon, but can’t seem to find the time.
This was dug out of a trip from Oct 2010.
    It’s just a single RAW file,edited in CS5.
As I said before at the time of shooting the light on the Lighthouse was turned off, so I was debating whether to add one in or not,
I used a plugin called Knoll Light Factory,
    Thanks again for the replies….
