How much do you print?

I have quite a few photos taken over the past few years. total, ive had 10-12 photos printed and framed. I want to get more printed and framed, but the cost is holding me back a little (im not complaining, work was awesome, top quality, but im saving for family commitments at the moment).

Bit of a survey, Id like to see:

    – how much of your work do you print?
    – do you hang it or keep it in a folder/book on a shelf?
    – do you print yourself or have a specialized printing/framing company deal with it?

I print as much as I can, images always look so much better in print, some I have on the walls,
Some are in photo books and most are in folders. The biggest I can print is A4 but when mounted
And framed it is quite an acceptable size. Since joining a camera club and one of the members
has started his own printing and framing business, so if there are any that I really like I would get them
    done bigger.
Home printers are so cheap now, it is the ink that is expensive, so when I buy new ink I would always
print off a few before hubby “wastes” all the ink!
I remember the thrill of collecting prints back in film days, and have loads of albums, it is lovely to look back
on them. In my opinion digital has killed all that, while it is so much easier to take hundreds of images
    we don’t print enough.

one thing you can do to keep the costs down

get a few frames of standard size made

then only get print and mount done each time and switch them in the frames

that way its much less expensive each time

the compromise is you making things fit in a standard size, which doesnt always work
