How to convert 16bit to 8bit colour

Ok so I ahve some PSD Files at 16bit colour and I need to change to 8bit so I can save them as JEPGs. How would I do this? Can I do it in photoshop. Thanks

Hi Shane – this is an easy step in Photoshop.

IMAGE drop down menu on the top

then change MODE
