How to get the best pics of cars??

    Hi all, I got a Nikon D3000 for my birthday in November, Im new to photography but always had an interest, Im struggling with my pics though, Im never truly happy, Im very interested in shooting cars mainly, I also love landscape and animals. But I want to improve my ability to take better pics of cars, So please any hints and tips will be greatly appreciated! here is some samples of my pictures.

    a simple place would be to look at car ads, examine the shots the angles, the background context etc, then look at the techniques, ie, circ pol filter to control reflection or zoom bursts etc, maybe shoot from lower down and fill the frame.

    some very creative ideas in the images above all the same.

    Hi Shaunie,

    Good start. Streight to the point. To shoot cars is not an easy. The first question is-what do you want to show. If it is a car in general, stand away from a car at least 15-20m, zoom as close as you can (Distance depends on type of lens, bigger zoom-bigger distance you need between camera and the car). That will give you more professional effect and bigger shallow bacground. Try to fill frame with the subject, do not leave a lot of empty space around the car.

    location is a big factor imo. The way I started out was keep trying and post up your favorite picture and ask how it can be improved. Also check out other peoples photos and see how they do it
