Howth Cliffs(nighttime)

Took this last night out in howth, the moon was just shy of being full so thought it could make for a nice shot under the moon light. anyone any thoughts on the processings. its a stich of three images. levels tool, burned the edges slightly and a small bit of sharpening.

well done for braving the elements and stitching three images from a night shot. I think the exposure perhaps could have been a bit brighter, looks like the moon was reasonably low in sky on your left, if had been behind you it might have lit up the rocks much more for you. But hey who can control the moon :) maybe try bit of light painting with torch.
ps only commenting on what i see – not something i’ve really tried and imagine was difficult.
i wasnt to happy with the image myself to be honest just thought id try get some opinions on it thought, figured it was a bit dark as well im hoping to go back and have a second craic at it.
I like the overall tones. Maybe if there was a bit more detail in the shadow areas. I love the shape of the rocks. Was that out in Red Rock. I wouldn’t mind paying it a visit.
ps. Donal, i do think your definitely on to something really good there, look forward to seeing round two
