Someone had fun with the contrast slider, eh Stephen? :wink:
I’m on the fence as regards the contrast around all things vertical in this one. It’s a good image with lovely colouring and layout. It’s attractive and I do like the mirror effect. On the enlarged version the sky looks patchy too. This is easily fixed with a noise remover and is only a minor issue.

How can the patchy look be removed from the sky ?the patchyness looks to me like a combination of JPEG artefacts, over sharpening and/or high contrast.
Did you sharpen this image at some stage?
Most likely though you have saved a jpeg several times with increasing compression.
THat creates those blocks and patterns.Best thing to do is to hope that you still have the original :wink:
