These two men got stranded on the Howth cliffs yesterday as they tried to climb up from the cove below. One fell back about ten feet and seemed to have been injured. If his fall had not been broken by a large boulder, he probably would have fallen to the cove below. The Coastguard was notified and a rescue ensued. Both men were winched to safety and seemed relatively unscathed. I’m pretty sure they were both mortified and will never do anything like that again!

No way. Tell them there are plenty of photos on Flickr. They might be able to laugh about it some day, when they get over the embarassment. I am sure they will get a fair bit of slagging from their family and mates. Did they get a lecture from the Coastguard guys? Ann
