I went home to Hungary for a week and took a couple of photos… mostly used my Mamiya, and Ilford PanF+ and SFX films. The pictures are not perfect and I love it.

The Varosliget in the heart of Budapest.. there are many hot springs in Hungary, and if you wake up early in the morning on a cold day and walk around near to these spas (hot water swimming pools), you will quite often see steaming lakes and misty parks. One of the best places to go to is the Szechenyi Spa and it’s surroundings. Just a tip if someone would go to Budapest and doesn’t like the touristy places.

And a random picture taken at my parents’ house..

Greetings Big Z… hope you had a pleasant time back in the Big H.

Must say I do like #3 a lot… atmostphere is brill, the haze really gives this photo a lot of mood.

Closley followed by #2… which has that certain something about it… shame the castle looks like it’s about to topple though.

#1 is a bit touristy… not for me.

As for #4… you’ll have to explain that one to me.

Never did get the postcard… yet.

Yes, the last picture is symbolizing the struggle for a better life and the injustice in the modern societies… It could also symbolize a lamp on a wall with it’s shadow and vine on the bottom. It’s high art, and even I am struggling to understand it, so it would take decades to explain it to you I’m afraid.

    Regards,

Crop out the flowers in no. 4 and it makes for a great pic, my favorite of the set.
