Hurling Imokilly v Sarsfield in Cork (first post)

jahernParticipant
First post for me on this forum, normally into nature but gave this a go on Saturday as I knew a few people playing. Match was on in Fermoy at seven in the evening. Very over cast hence the ISO of 800 and then a 1000.
Thanks to Tom responding and showing me how to embed the photos correctly.

Equipment was a 1DMKIIN and 500mm lens, the 500 is a bit too long, I can understand why 400mm or 300mm f/2.8 is used by the Pros.
Welcome your comments

TompixBandonMemberHi John,
Congrats on first post and welcome!
A tip on posting – which I have only learned the hard way! It’s gnerally better to embed the images in the message so that members don’t have to leave the PI site to go and see the pics and then come back. I think it’ll also make it easier for people to comment on them.
To do this, make sure that an extra bit of code is wrapped around the URL for your image. That just means startingt the line with . Just put the code in between.I’ll do it with one here and you should be able to see your first pic below:
That’s the one I like best, too. Though I hurry to say I have never taken sports pix! Still, these are nice photos.
Keep clicking and posting and enjoy!
Tom.

Keep up the good work, and maybe crop the images….

jahernParticipantThanks Tom for this, I taught it would be like other sites that you just have to put the link with .jpg on the end, makes a big difference having them on the page.
