I don’t like cricket; I love it!!

Hi all,
I have found this discussion, as can be the case with most
civilised discussions, very entertaining. :)I normally stay out of the “yes it is” “no it isn’t” type arguments.
“I’m not joining in with this one either.”
“Yes you are”
“No I’m not, I’m tring to start a different argument.”
“But isn’t this a thread about a cricket fielder murdering a pigeon” :wink:I don’t see the point in a person who finds a particular exercise to be boring and
uninteresting trying to convince another person who finds that same exercise to be
interesting and not at all boring that the exercise is boring and uninteresting.I also don’t see the point in a person who finds a particular exercise to be interesting and
not at all boring trying to convince another person who finds that same exercise to be boring
and uninteresting that the exercise is interesting and not at all boring.Did I just write that stuff?
Oh I’ll leave it now.
John.
randomwayMemberI find all sports, where the players have a very low chance of being killed boring.
Still, as the others said, I can watch a tennis match for half an hour and enjoy it, I even have a favourite tennis player…
…

Oh bother!
I find cricket equally confusing and boring but at least I don’t have to watch it. Give a big medal to the man who invented the remote control ‘cos I can exercise my democratic right to chose what I want to watch on the telly without having to leave the comfort of my armchair.

Another Assumption – PeteTheBloke says he doesn’t watch telly… so we must assume he listens to the Cricket on his wireless? Ah.. the excitment of it all.
Yep that’s the way it is.
And “wireless”??? How old did you say you are?
