I finally go digital…

I’ve finally got a 20d after a good longish time saving up for one.
Bought it for ?310 with a new 2GB extreme III thrown in, it’s brand newish (the seller had it a few months but never got the time to use it) and a Canon 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS is on it’s way too (from Hong Kong) :D
I’m really pleased with it! It’s in brilliant condition, I havent noticed one mark on it at all and it shoots like a minigun with that extremeIII card!! (well.. compared to the 1fps 500n  )

One thing though… can you make it display the current settings (apeture/shutter speed/WB/ISO/drive mode etc.) on the LCD when you’re shooting? I’ve seen my Art teacher’s 400d do it (grey screen with black and white text/numbers)… I can’t find it anywhere in the manual so that’s why I’m asking you guys..

It really lets you appreciate digital when you’re shooting exclusively on film for about a year.. But there’s a load more things to learn now with all this WB shift, DOF preview, C. Functions, parameters and all that.

Now to stick the 50mm f/1.8 on and get shooting instead of messing about listening to the shutter release!

    A few shots…
Because of the arival of the 20d, I thought it was only fair that the ixus500 got to be the subject
(Only very minor cropping done to these)

    C&C appreciated
