Kirsty had the brightest of red dresses that screamed for a dark green background… The dark patches on the dress is caused by heavy rain (as is the smile on her face in the second).. :)
Love the tones in the first-
particularly the brick, for some reason-
Overall placement and composition is great-
I’m not sure she’s all that comfortable in front of the camera-
and I can’t take my eye off her undergarments,
which is maybe not a good thing…
I wonder if the hotness of the red is accentuating that?
The pose in the first seems to be a held one,
I think it might have made more sense had she been looking back…
A complex shot though, and as you said, the location is a real find-
Kirsty was having fun and we were going with the flow rather than posing anyhting particularly. The first was a grab as she walked up the stairs, I redid a few afterwards and this was the most natural. I agree about the undies. I’ve boosted the colours a bit, the red isn’t burnt but maybe some more contrast would work better, I shall have a look.
These are at Gloucester Docks, lots of old brickwork, ironwork and cobbles.
