Another scene from the Grand Canal in Dublin. Of recent this is one of my most favorite photo locations.
The gentlemen in bronze to the right of the lady with the book is Patrick Kavanagh.I know the highlights are all blown to smithereens…
I didn’t have time to figure out how to get the exposure right as I was already late for work.Of course, I never actually made it to work.
5 minutes after taking this photo last Monday (30th July) I was hit by a car while cycling to work.
I broke his windscreen and he broke my wrist…C&C welcome, as always

Had the camera and four lenses in my tamrac bag in the basket on the back of the bike… and it looks like they all made it through this.
Though my 17-70 seems to be a little loose ever since.Very nice shot. Heading into Dublin today myself to try some street stuff will be head up around this area thanks for planting a seed in my head.
Very sorry to here about your wrist, look on the bright side it will give you some more time to process your shots of Chile:-(

LOL THat would have been something. Unfortunately, with the broken wrist, I couldn’t even open the bag without garda assistance to check if the camera and lenses were ok.
Sorry to hear about that. Hope you heal quickly and that the cameras are OK.
