Those are very impressive – particularly the first and the last ones in my opinion. Can I ask – did you do an unsharp mask and touch of colour to the models lips in the first one ?
Hey Jack! The first is great! Love the angle. Not mad about the second and hate the third (nothing to do with Ali, it’s just overexposed)
I like the first and last. The middle one feels a bit… “Honey, why do I always have to pose for photos when we’re on vacation??” to me.
The first portrait of LJ is superb John. Very nice indeed :)
I don’t care very much for either of the other two.

Yup, but thats not the reason for me not liking the other two. The shot of Ali is grossly overexposed and then pushed again in Photoshop to give it a deliberate artistic feel – I don’t think it works. The other shot of LJ technically looks ok in terms of exposure, sharpness etc but it’s completely uninspiring and for a model shot, I don’t think its flattering to her. Where as shot no.1, forgetting the fact that it’s a head shot, is original, well composed and more importantly makes LJ look quite attractive.
I like the first one.
