I think you need a long lens here to capture the expression and isolater that giraffe from the others.

Steve if only, I was using a S7000 with a T-con 1.7 as close as I can get unfortunately.

SodaAny time I went to the zoo or fota island I always try to have no man made anything in the picture think it makes the photo more real if that doesnt sound daft. great expression though
