Idea WIP

Hi All,

I had this thought in a local cafe a few days ago, then I thought as I was making it, it might be quite good as a weight watchers advert with some sort of clever tagline.

Anyway this is what I have done so far, I’m not sure wheather to add ropes, a tent, a flag and maybe a few circling birds?

I also tryed to blur out the bottom section to give a sence of height, not sure if it works.

Hi Aaron2d,

I’m not an expert on this type of photography but I thought you deserved a reply.

First of all I must applaud your efforts.
Nothing wrong with thinking of something new to do and giving it a try.

I was trying to work out what the image said to me vis a vis Weightwatchers.
Maybe conquering food?

Not sure if the blurring adds the desired sense of height as that part of the cake shouldn’t be OOF if
the rest of it is in focus.

Not sure if the grey background is best.

Did you shoot all the images used?

Good effort.

Well done for trying and I look forward to seeing more.

I think this is very good!. It does portray someone conquering a food obsession but this does not immediately jump out at you. If there was a text statement like “conquer your Demons”…..Weightwatchers” then this for me would have the image leap out at you.

I like the birds as they add an interest to the mount!.

I’d love to know how you added the climbers without losing their sharpness through feathering etc???
