Pat….thanks ..I think the title wrote itself :)
BrickeeParticipantExpresbroParticipantAh I doubt it was anything I did Jim…..he’s probably dreaming of some nice forest home in the mountains…and trying to ignore the gawking primates outside the glass….
shutterbugParticipantReally nice shot, I have got lots of shots of his back he really does have the knack of
turning his back just at the right moment, did you have windolene with you? The glass
is very clean :)ExpresbroParticipantHehe!! Believe me..I have many shots of his back too…. In fact about a minute after I got this, he got bored and climbed down under the wooden structure and turned his back..!!
The glass is pretty crap okay…so I just moved around until I found a half decent spot then went for the widest aperture I could and zoomed in..that usually helps a lot with any marks and scratches on the glass.
I find that the best way with subjects like this is to be patient (something I’m not known for) and stand with your finger on the shutter release and be ready to fire when he eventually throws a dirty look your way
I’m tall as well, which helps with the usual crowds of people milling around the enclosure.
