You have captured a lot of motion in this shot, but it is quite dark, and in
particular the foreground figure is so dark that it is quite hard to distinguish
quite what it is, a nice idea but needs to have a little more “brightness” to
    see the motion better.

I think, darkness problem is in monitors calibration differences, but take a look on the picture in general, what do you see first? It makes no sense for foreground figure, cause your eyes have focused on the background figure with the stick.

Kind of dark on the two monitors I have here also.

    Thanks wirepic,

I will consider that, two monitors – it is something :)

    Hi Jevgenij Pilipov,

The first things I noticed when I viewed this photograph was that it was very dark and
that the figure in the foreground was grabbing my attention.
My eyes only noticed the figure with the stick after these two observations and then seeing
    the bus.

I then read the other posts and noticed others mentioned the darkness.
I have a problem with my laptop screen being very bright so I doubt if
screen calibration is causing the image to look dark.

That said I always like to applaud PI members for getting out, making
photographs and then posting them here for us to see and comment on.

    Cheers,

    John.

To me, seeing as the question was asked, the first thing I see are the B&W yellow lines. These lead to a foot…this leads to a guy with a crutch. But as you look up the crutch you loose the subject in the darkness. It’s a nice idea but it isn’t executed in a way that really drives your intention home.
    Hope it makes sense.

    Alan.
