In the Pink

PeteTheBlokeMember
My sister got married again at the weekend. She wanted everyone to dress in pink.
I’m afraid these have a bit of a snapshot quality about them. The real photographer
was using reflectors and fill flash but I only had my built-in flash and kit lens.Anyway, seeing as there’s a new section, I wanted to put something here.
Sis and new hubby
Sis and daughter (my niece)
If I find some more that are worth posting, I’ll add ’em. Just so you get
to know my family better ;)PeteTheBlokeMemberSis, Son, Daughter
I was thinking of cropping out sis’s watch. What do you think?
Not Pete the blokeParticipant‘married again…..’ lol – I always wince when I hear that phrase. You’d think that once would be anough for anyone, particularly us blokes….
First one – my eye is drawn to a label which seems to be attached to the tree? What on earth does it say…? lol Hope you wore pink as well – and if so, where is the evidence.
Second one is good control of harsh sunlight conditions. You should have told them a joke Pete!
Ross
Not Pete the blokeParticipantPeteTheBlokeMemberI managed to wear a pink tie. That was bad enough.
Multiple marriages are common over there (and becoming so over here). It
does seem like the triumph of….etc etc. but I know men who seem addicted to it.The label on the tree says “Silver Birch, Betula pendula”.
Thanks for commenting Ross – good to see you around.
jb7ParticipantMen don’t wear pink-
unless they get to call it salmon,
which is acceptable, for some reason-Nice pix-
hope you have some from later-j

My son flatly refused to wear pink. He ended up with a blue shirt that had
a minute pink thread every couple of inches.I’m afraid I put the camera away later, but the poor pro tog stuck at it for hours
taking “candids” throughout the whole day. Hope she gets well paid, because it’s an
unenviable job.jb7Participantforgot to mention,
Olga looks lovely-
quite unlike the last time I saw her-I shot a wedding in England a couple of months ago-
all day job,
900 and odd pix,
300 and odd shortlist,
162 in the album-Its a lot of work-

PeteTheBlokeMemberThis lady expected to fire 2000 shots. I said, “You wouldn’t have
taken one quarter of that on film”, and started the perennial debate. Not Olga. Deborah. My other sisters are Vivienne and Tanya. Who is Olga??
jb7ParticipantOops,
sorry, must have been thinking of someone else-The biggest wedding I ever shot on film had almost exactly the same stats-
33 rolls of film,
hand printed b&w album,
95% printed full frame, black borders.
Now, sadly, ripped in two-Symptomatic of the observation in your original post-
I’d better stop now,
in case people suspect another clique going on-j

Someone has to reply to my less inspiring posts –
and anyway, a public discussion about photos is what the
forum is for, even when the photos are not necessarily works
of art.RobMemberVery nice images Pete, particularly the third in spite of the strong
sunlight. Looks like a happy day was had by all…Olga indeed, tee hee hee…
Rob.
mervifwdcParticipantWay OT: Perhaps there would be fewer second weddings if blokes remembered to say the correct girls name at the correct time :-)

Or if they restrict themselves to girls who all have the same name.
