Just to the left of centre, the two mountains that look like a pair of breasts :-) are Ireland’s two highest peaks: Carrauntoohill (on the right) and Beenkeragh (on the left).
Very nice John, I do think there’s too much foreground and could do with being cropped. If you have the pixels I think it would make a great pano shot, the mountains and the sky look great. Really like your conversion also.
i really like this one. i wouldn’t crop it. the first thing i saw was the little section of froth in the foreground, and went from there backwards and up the mountains. the bird’s cool too. :wink:
Lovely shot, don’t crop it! I do find the mid section a little too bright and pulls attention away from the skyline, you are led to look at the mountains but just below the bright light becomes distracting after a while. I stuck a gradient on this of 9% and it keeps the light in the distant clouds just a tad brighter than their reflections.
