great shot! …lovely tones and good and sharp. just out of interest did you try cropping it below the darker big stones ?(maybe at the tip of the bottom right rock) , almost a square crop ….i know , i know rule of thirds etc :-)….but i think it could work here . very good capture anyway .
Thanks guys. Haven’t tried to crop it so will give it a go and see what it looks like.
1 stop darker on the mountains in the background and it would be perfect for me, still perfect! just a wee bit darker for me :) gorgeous m8
I wouldn’t change a thing, it’s a really lovely shot. Print it, hang it and sit back with a nice mug a coffee and enjoy.

I’d only crop a tiny bit at the top, I wouldn’t crop anything out of the bottom.
Thanks guys. Brian, I had waited for a good long time for this shot. The tide had to be just right, too high and the rocks were gone , to low and there’d be footprints everywhere. The tide also had to coincide with a sunset to one side, as we’ll as having a horizon with not too much cloud on it. I have a good couple more and will post the best 1 or 2 towards the weekend.
