inset a photo in photo for paper?

When sending a photo to a paper would it ever be a good idea to inset a smaller image into the main photo like here http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/crime/senior-hutch-gang-member-keith-murtagh-survives-second-murder-bid-after-house-shooting-34735568.html” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; There are three photo in that giving background to the story.
Would papers accept that and would it be way to make a photo more appealing assuming there is a lot of background to the story and they will only use one? Or would it mess up their system?
I wouldn’t, they can do it themselves IF the want to – same applies to converting Colour to B&W.
Absolutly, but don’t send more than 4-6, and make sure EVERY picture is fully captioned in FILE INFO.
