great shots and lovely design. i am currently studying interior design so hopefully one day i will be able to create rooms/spaces like these and then take amazing shots like yours.
would love any other tips you have to offer on taking interior shots.

    Thanks again-

    MelK,
Its really just as I mentioned in the first post-
    Look first,
    look through the camera,
    but preferably just look-
the interior isn’t going to run away-

maybe more than any other type of picture,
you have an opportunity for very careful composition-
    its a very deliberate process,
and interior space mirrors the space within the camera-
the meaning of the word camera is ‘room’ as you all know-

The space itself will suggest how it should be photographed,
    after that,
its your choice how you move things within the frame to complete the composition-
This can take a long time-

I design interiors from time to time,
but find it very difficult to get good pictures of my own work-
    maybe because its rubbish,
    that’s a distinct possibility :D
(before anyone else can jump in with the reason)

but its a good thing to come to an interior fresh,
rather than to be closely bound to every detail over a long period.

An interior is more than the sum of its parts,
and its good to have a little distance,
    a fresh perspective on things-

Best of luck with the course too-

Been away for a while and just catching up hence the late response. These are excellent – really nice work. The lighting is lovely, colours and shapes all work well too – they are all visually appealing. No point picking a favourite as they are all top notch. If I had to make a criticism it would be that I usually prefer interiors/architecture shots to be a bit more sharpened – but thats just a personal preference. All great pics.

    Thanks Gerard, appreciate it-
I probably coulsd have another look at the sharpening,
but they are very small anyway-
and its a fine line between getting the sharpening right,
and making it noticable in its own right-
I usually err on the side of caution myself-

    Thanks again for the comment-
